Happy easter everyone

Wow.. Just looked at the date for my last entry.. It's been more then a week since the last time i updated our blog. Sorry about that ( to my defence - i've been extremely tired...)
Mishelle has become more and more tired from her tumor. She is now spending 23,5 hours of the day in bed...!! Sleeping or awake with us at her side. She has, as i'm sure you can see in the photos lost a lot of weight this last month. She is using morphine plaster as well as her morphine suppositories when the pain gets to be to much. Our latest wory is her breathing,which could be because the tumor is growing next to her respiration center OR because of the increased dose of morphine she is recieving.

The 2 angels in the photos is Mina and Nina from the local hospital in Fredrikstad. Thank you girls and thank you to everyone at B1. Hope you enjoy the photo Cd i made for you :o)

Visit from the local hospital

Today Mishelle had a visit from 2 of the nurses in Fredrikstad. Ina who was here the last time, and Mina one of Mishelle's favourites...:o) They were here to take bloodtest and to see how she was doing. - Sorry about the vomit, Mina..:o)
(Mishelle turned ill during their visit and threw up on Minas jeans...)
Mishelle is not in her best "shape" these days and i feel a littlebit like an vampire living in the dark. She has turned very sensible to light and sound. These past 3 days she has hardely been outside the bedroom at all, and she wants me or her mother at her side 24/7.

Just a couple of photos from the last few days

Sorry folks, i have not been to good at updating this blogg the past few days.. but here at least is a couple of photos. One from our last visit to the hospital ( we stayed from monday to tuesday ) and one from yesterday showing Mishelle eating something for the first time in more than a week!!! Mishelle has had growing pain symtoms this last week and we are giving her more morphine suppository to control it.

mi mama zenobia ella vino para conocer asu niesta pero en la circustancias que la vino aver no era justa ella trata de ser muy fuerte para no hacerme notar que le duele mucho ver asu nieta querida enferma ella el anteano pasado perdio asu hermana por cancer tambien . yo en verdad tengo miedo para lo que pase mas adelante solo ahora nos enfokamos en lo pequenos momentos con mishelle son pequenos pero para mi son los mas hermoso apesar que mi hija esta medicada todo el iempo ella quiere hacerme sentir que aun esta aki me da besos me abraza apesar que tiene miedo muestra una sonrisa y no kiero pensar cuando ella me falte me aislado mucho lose por eso disculpeme pero no puedo hablar con nadies nesecito meditar mucho .

en estas semanas han pasado tantas cosas

hoy por ejemplo estamos en casa pero anteyer estabamos en el hospital por que habia problemas con su cvk de mishelle aunque nos dijieron y klaro vimos que todo estaba bien solo que la medicina para la epilekcia hacia que ella tedria un ardor al ingresar a su cuerpo . no hemos estado muy bien la pesadilla aun no acaba mishelle ayer estuvo con mucho dolores y muy enfermita . traspira mucho en su cabesita esta muy adolorida duerme mucho y no somo ha bajado de peso muy rapido.
los mas doloros es que mi hija tiene dolores y nosotros no podemos hacer nada ella sufre mucho ...

Mishelle & i have been to the local hospital

Yesterday Mishelle and i took an ambulance to the local hospital in Fredrikstad. Mishelle had been without medicin for almost 2 days and could not keep anything in. So we have spent the night at the hospital, and Mishelle has recieved medicin and liquids through her veins.. :o) While she was awake she made sure "our girls" ( the nurses) were kept busy.. hehehe Here is the photo from today's events..

Hi ya all.

Today 2 of the nurses from the local hospital came to visit Mishelle ( and to take a few bloodtest ). Mishelle was sleeping when they came, and she woke up and saw one of her favorite nurses standing by her bed - it took a little while before she realised she was not dreaming....hehehe
Today Mishelle has been awake for almost 10 hours straight!! ( but she threw up in the end and fell asleep from the pain it causes her to throw up).

In one of todays photos you can see nurse Ina and nurse Grethe who came to visit us. Thank you very much girls! Now that is taking good care of your patients :o)

Mishelle getting worse everyday

Mishelle is getting a littlebit worse everyday it seems. She has some good moments, but overall the feeling is that she is going downhill much to fast...
She has headaches - strongones at times!, is getting more and more tired and is showing signs of having trouble with light and sounds. Our days have been turned up-side-down, and our strenght is running out..( or so it feels at times ). Cancer is an awful disease!!! :o(

Busy day

Today's been a busy day... first off - Mishelle did not fall asleep untill 3AM last night... Then today the priest in who will perform the funeral came to visit us. We wanted her to get to know Mishelle a little bit and to let Melissa get to know her a little bit as well. When "that" day arrives i think it will somewhat easier on Melissa if she knows the people involved.
When the priest left, Melissa's psychologist came to visit her. Since this has been a very difficult weekend in terms of Mishelle getting MUCH worse, we found it easier if the psychologist could come to us.

Ps: The woman in the photo with M&M's is Marit Bekken, the priest i talked about. She has performed the wedding ceremony for Zulema and i, and the baptism for both our girls. She is a wonderful human being and we asked her in specific to perform the funeral for Mishelle.
